Cinnamon Bun Day

Did you know?
Since 1999, Sweden has celebrated Cinnamon Bun Day every October. The tradition began when Hembakningsrådet set out to inspire people to bake more at home by sharing recipes and helpful tips.

According to the industry association Sveriges bagare och konditorer, Swedes enjoy an estimated 9 million cinnamon buns on this delicious holiday each year — a true national love affair with the classic kanelbulle.
